BRAVO ONE
The Bravo One® drive is designed to excel under the high stress requirements of today's performance boats. In addition, it comes standard with a dual water pickups gearcase, improving the flow of cooling water to the engine for enhanced reliability and performance. All Bravo® drives include upgraded thrust bearings and a thicker socket floor in the upper gears, which translates to increased durability. BRAVO TWO
Larger cruiser and nonplaning boat applications require more propeller thrust to get them moving quickly and to keep them moving at slower engine speeds for optimum fuel economy. All Bravo Two® drives will accept up to a 20 in. (50.8 cm) diameter propeller to maximize cruise efficiency. In addition to improving the planing characteristics of larger boats, the Bravo Two provides significantly higher reverse thrust for greater stopping power and better maneuverability. Besides its greater physical size to accommodate the larger propeller, the Bravo Two gear housing also employs larger shafts, bearings and near-net gears to handle the higher propeller thrust. All Bravo® drives have been improved to include upgraded thrust bearings and a thicker socket floor in the upper gears, which translates to increased durability. Different gear ratios are utilized on the Bravo Two to facilitate turning the larger-diameter propeller. The Bravo Two drive also comes standard with the MerCruiser® -exclusive Permalube® U-joints that eliminate the need for periodic lubrication.

Bravo Three® drive is a state-of-the-art twin-propeller sterndrive configuration. Efficient and maneuverable, it's also built for added performance. The Bravo Three can provide faster acceleration, raillike tracking through turns and lower rpm's while cruising for improved fuel economy. In simple terms, Bravo Three utilizes the concept of counterrotation to counteract the listing some boat designs experience with a single-prop drive.
